While getting a watch fixed at Benari Jewelers, I was able to catch up with Rachel Benari and asked her why they were moving out of Media. Rachel explained it wasn't anything to do with Media and enjoyed the time here, but they needed a larger space. They'll be moving to new building in Newtown Square in April. No update yet on what might replace the vacancy on Monroe and State St.
Why not Media Borough Hall?

ReplyDeleteBenari is building a new building in Newtown Square. Not sure Old Borough Hall was even a possibility due to the layout and at the time the building was still occupied by Broduer's.
Word is a lawyer office will be occupying the Benari's building pending zoning.
