Media, PA: Repair of Cross-walk at Jackson and State St has begun!

After much delay, the repair work at the cross-walk of Jackson and State St. has begun. The work is scheduled from Nov 8th and should last a week, weather permitting. During that time the road will not be accessible by vehicles from 7am to 5pm. Outside of those hours, steel plates will temporarily cover the work, allowing traffic to proceed.

  1. Hm.... how old was that recent work? 5 Years, or less? I wonder if the original contractor pays partially for this....

  2. I kinda liked watching people bottom out while driving too fast in Media. In fact...people drive WAY TOO FAST down State Street,,,Including the wonderful Trolley. There should be lower speed limit. I see peoples mirrors get hit quite often if they park on State Street.

  3. I just walked on this cross-walk today and it seems like there is still a significant dip in it.

  4. So...is this a phased repair? Or is it complete? It the work is complete, what the heck was our money spent on? I drive this road every day and there is still a very significant dip. In fact, I can't detect any noticeable difference. has this been brought to council's attention?
