It's about the community we grew up in, not politics

A year ago, 1 West State St. sat dormant with with little to no interest from buyers.  Prior to that, the former borough council had six years to resolve the situation, but didn't think $1,000,000.00 offers were good enough.  After two failed  leases, extensive legal and administrative costs, the building deteriorated and lost tremendous value.

Meeting Minutes 2005
Fast forward ahead one year to 2011 and 1 West State St has now been sold to the top bidder who is expected to open a well know Italian restaurant at the beginning of 2012.  The local businesses are enthusiastic and so are many residents.  Much like the 3rd St. Bridge, inaction and lack of leadership has cost this town dearly during a time where many are struggling right here in Media.  We're trying to improve that and hope you look at the results we've accomplished in just one year.

It's not about politics, it's about results
and doing what's right for the community we grew up in.
