A Hometown Tradition - Media Area Sports Hall of Fame Dinner

What a great evening for the last of the Media Area Sports Hall of Fame dinners to be held at the Towne House.  Come to think of it, it's probably my last time in the place too.  But what better place to be, than this place to see the coaches and athletes that have had such an impact on the people sitting in the seats.  It was great to be part of the group that accepted the Team of the Year Award 1985 Penncrest Football Team.

Congratulations to the honorees with special recognition to this year's winner of the Warren B. Humes Sportsperson of the Year, Tim Broadhurst.  I especially enjoyed Michael Randolph's acceptance speech who spoke passionately about his team and grit needed to make it in sports and in life.
