Why is Door-to-Door Canvassing okay to be put upon Media residents, but not okay for Media's Mayor, Bob McMahon? He has a no solicitation sign outside his complex.

  1. If people are really bothered by door-to-door solicitors that work through the proper channels, can't they just put "No Solicitation" signs on their own private property? Just like the No Solicitation sign in the mayor's complex was probably put up and enforced by the HOA, which he most likely pays a fee for. Seems like a pretty big non-issue to me, but hey, to each his own.

  2. You too may place a no solicitation sign outside your property. Pretty simple solution

  3. Can the borough provide these signs to residents for no cost or better yet have a do not call list such as the Federal Law that covers phone solicitation

  4. Someone please tell residents how many customers did their blanket solicitation
Bring in in today's world they're better ways to reach people and get new customers and also enlighten us are these solicitors employees or contractors for the company they're soliciting for. ?
