As an alumni, It's hard to describe Penncrest High school without also mentioning former principal, Lou Scott. To me, the two are almost synonymous. The tireless work he did for the school and the area communities is legendary. He was not only an educator, disciplinarian and all around great guy, but challenged his students to be the best they could be.He set a standard of class, dignity and respect which not only defined him, but was a direct reflection on Penncrest and the students he oversaw.
The annual Lou Scott Classic golf outing is June 5th. Details can be found on the Media Town Talk website.
A guy that could connect with the janitor or the President was Lou Scott. He made you feel important.
