The
Big Belly Solar (Trash) Compactors are arriving in Media with one set already deployed at the courthouse and a second next to One West State St. (Broduer's). The solar ability of the units allow for compacting volume, thus lessening man-hours and fuel needed for pickup. There is also an adjacent bin for recycled items too.

Recycling and Solar make a great combination with Media Borough being on the forefront. These efforts don't just happen by luck. Council President, Pete Alyanakian was responsible with working with State Rep Tom Killion in order to secure a grant for $20,000. Thanks to leadership in action....making Media better for all!

What a great idea, Wish we could get them in Henderson ,NV. We need more recycle here
