BREAKING NEWS - Bi-Partisan coalition receives funds to repair 3rd St. Bridge

At tonight's  Borough Council meeting, Media's bi-partisan coalition adopts resolution 2011-01 RCAP Grant to accept $650k in redevelopment funds towards the repair of third street bridge.

After 13 years of lack of direction and a cost to borough tax payers of $280k, Media Borough's bi-partisan coalition, led by Council President, Pete Alyanakian and Vice President, Monika Rehoric  is making progress to finalize bridge repair sometime in 2012/13.  There are a few items yet to be worked out, but after 6 months of the bi-partisan leadership, results are speaking louder than words.

Congratulations to Media......more information on this story to come!

  2. Best thing to happen in 13 years--since the bridge has been out.

Third Street has always been a gateway to and from Media.

Will definitely ease traffic congestion--and give the residents a better quality of life.

  3. Tedman, can you explain how it is that the "bipartisan coalition" is singularly responsible for this grant? Are you saying that none of the previous leadership had anything to do with its procurement? (I honestly don't know, I'm asking you.)
