Preparing for Snow in Media, PA

With yet another snow storm approaching, be sure to keep in mind a few things:

Snow emergencies, depending on the severity of the storm, are delcared by a formal announcement from Mayor, Bob McMahon.  During our last major storm, this was broadcasted by phone via the borough's Emergency Notification System.  If you haven't yet signed up, please visit the borough's site. 

Per the borough website:  MEDIA BOROUGH ORDINANCE 996 REQUIRES THAT A PROPERTY OWNER/OCCUPANT CLEAR A PATH A MINIMUM OF THREE (3) FEET WIDE ON THE SIDEWALK(S) ABUTTING THEIR PROPERTY WITHIN 24 HOURS OF THE END OF A STORM.
