Candidates for Rose Tree Media School District - Performance Proven!

As as candidate for Media Borough Council, I've been busy the last few weeks discussing the many issues important to Media.   One of which is the leadership for the Rose Tree Media School Board.  With 70% of the taxpayers not having children in school, this is a very important item that's on a lot of peoples minds.   I've had the opportunity to meet and discuss at length with the 5 Republican candidates who not only understand this, but have worked to hold the line on taxes.

Chris Guilday, Bill O'Donnell, Liz Schneider
Nancy Fronduti, John Hanna
The three candidates on the board that are up for re-election are Bill O'Donnell, Nancy Fronduti and John Hanna.  Their experience and leadership is well known and proves to be a winning combination for quality schools at affordable costs.  There's a great write up of their efforts in this week's Town Talk.

Per Town Talk Article:
"In spite of the challenging economy and a loss of $1.2 million in state funding for education, Rose Tree Media School District’s proposed $80.7 million general fund budget for 2011-2012 calls for no property tax increase."
"O’Donnell also had more good news for residents, even though there was only a handful at the meeting. He said there will be no cuts in existing educational programs or services during the coming school year."

Liz Schneider and Media resident, Chris Guilday are highly qualified candidates that are also dedicated to providing exceptional education while balancing fiscal responsibility.

PRIMARY, Tuesday May 17th  Poll Open 7am to 8pm
