Investigation of body being handled by Upper Prov. Police Dept. and CID

Media Residents,

I received an update tonight from Councilman, Jim Cunningham who chairs the Media Borough Public Safety committee.  Based on the location of the remains, this investigation is being conducted by the Upper Providence Police Dept. and Delco's Criminal Investigation Division.

No further information has been released by Upper Providence at this time, but hopefully more information will be announced tomorrow.  The initial speculation is that this may have been a suicide, though that has yet to be confirmed.

I'll provide updates as I receive them.

    Thanks for the clarity. As tragic as this suicide was, it was comforting to know we didn't have killers on the streets that led to this.
