Welcome to Media, Sassy Girl!

I saw what looked like an opening yesterday, but didn't get a chance to stop in and say hello and check the place out.  If you haven't heard or seen, Media has a new store on State Street that goes by the name Sassy Girl and is located where the former Clear Communications "Sphere" store was on the west end of town.  Clear communications who came to Media as a retail store selling broadband services, was only here for a year. Remember their marketing campaign with the people riding around on tri-cycles with crazy hair?

Anyway it's great to see Sassy Girl occupy this space.  Looks like they specialize in a wide selection of women's apparel.

  1. Good luck to them. Hopefully their window treatments and signage will give "clear" indication as to what they do, unlike the ironically named Clear Communications...or Sphere...I thought that place was an Internet cafe minus the coffee, or a mobile device shop, or a wireless provider. They never seemed open and the tinted windows and lack of any signage on the windows made it very unwelcoming.

Anyway fashion is competitive so here's to the new store doing well.

  2. What was up with that Sphere store? It was more bark than bite. That was the most overhyped retail venture to come through Media in ages. Bet you 5 out of 10 people didn't even know what they sold in there.

  3. I like how you wait till the last sentence of the story to mention what the store sells. Great reporting.

  4. Hi Tedman,

This is the Sassy Girl. Thank you for blogging about my business. I'm very excited to be operating in Downtown Media, and business has been great since our Opening on July 14. I'm very optimistic that I'll be here for a very long time!

  5. That's what those crazy people were doing on the bikes? I always wondered that and thought it was a little creepy and odd. I live in Media and never new Sphere existed. Ha! I'm happy to see that a cute boutique filled that space. At least we all know what is there now!
