Media, PA CANDLELIGHT HOLIDAY HOUSE TOUR December 8, 2012, 2 to 7pm

Media Historical Preservation Holiday House Tour Dec. 8th
Don’t miss this year’s Candlelight Holiday House Tour presented by Media Historical Preservation.  The house tour is December 8th, 2012, 2-7pm and will feature Media homes and those in the surrounding area.  Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at Earth & State, Media Florist or Quincy’s on State Street.  

Ticket holders will also receive a 10% discount for lunch or dinner that day at local participating eateries.  All proceeds from the event will benefit the preservation and maintenance of the Minshall House in Media.

    This is a great opportunity for thieves to check out these homes. I was approached several years ago but declined. It is a shame we need to think this way.

    I had hosted numerous tours over the years and no one has ever had anything stolen. People that go on house tours are very reverent to the houses they see. Most are reticent about even walking on the carpets, etc. It is a boundless fear that they are casing out the homes.
