I can't remember in recent times, if ever, Media had a bodybuilding contest; however, that's about to change! Coming in June, the Philadelphia Championships and Tracey Greenwood Classic will be hosted at the Media Theatre. This will be a big event with many contestants coming from out of town to compete in this all day championship. Prejudging will start at noon, with the finals starting at 6pm.
MEDIA Businesses and Restaurants, get ready! The attendees should bring a good amount of commerce to the town that day.
A special THANKS to Trish who is not only a contestant, but Media local who worked hard to have Media Theatre sponsor this event.
Good thing there's a nice hotel in the area to...oh, wait...
ReplyDeletegross.
ReplyDeleteWill any of our council people flex their conflict-of-interests at the event?
ReplyDeleteWill you be there flexing your grudge muscles?
DeleteCome on now...put your differences aside. Come out to the event and enjoy yourselves. It's definitely something different!
ReplyDeleteHyper aggressive dude brah culture. Date has been noted and I'll ensure I am out of town. And yes, I am a fat out of shape load who could not lift the unweighted bar the weakest of these contestants uses. No, I am not jealous, just a lard a**.
ReplyDeleteMr. Snrub, can they be any worse than the out of shape Igles apparel-wearing Delco tough guys who show up at every other event. What about the progressive and aggressive Obama supporters at Trader Joe's who block the aisle with their strollers and have an impromptu lesson on life with their precious children. Or, lastly the local cops who make 6 figures, with overtime, for doing nothing more than harass the residents with subjective and arbitrary "laws". Have an open mind, if you can manage everyday life in Delco, then a bunch of people with an unhealthy obssession with their appearance shouldn't scare you off.
ReplyDeleteAll excellent points Anon 9:41! I shall deal. Thank you.
DeleteI will totally win this...
