Media Little League Holds Annual
Beef-n-Beer
Media, PA – Media Little
League is holding its 4th Annual Beef-n-Beer at St. Mary Magdalen’s
Church, 2400 N. Providence Road, on April 12, 2014 from 7:00 to
11:00pm. This event follows the
traditional kickoff to the baseball season when Opening Day ceremonies are held
at the Media Little League Complex next to Springton Lake Middle School at
9:00am that morning.
The fun-filled evening includes a professional DJ, dancing,
silent auction and savory foods catered by Quotations Restaurant along with
beer, wine and desserts. All of the
proceeds raised from this event go directly to support Media Little League
baseball. The public is welcome and
tickets can be purchased at the door on the night of the event for $30. Purchased tickets automatically enter
attendees into the Grand Prize drawing at the end of the evening.
“It’s a great venue for parents
just joining Little League by introducing them to other members of the Media
community”, said President Tom Scanlon.
“It gives them a chance to become involved in one of the area’s best
all-volunteer youth organizations and to support the family-friendly
environment that has been created here.”
Media Little League serves 550 ball-players and their
families.
