Thursday May 22, 2014 at 3:46pm, the Nether Providence Police responded to the 700 block of Hemlock Road for a report of a suspicious person. The resident arrived home to find a white male coming out from her backyard. The subject stated he was talking to her dogs and asked if she knew where the trolley tracks were. The subject was described as a white male with blond hair, approximately 5’9”-5’10”, medium build, medium complexion and made mention of Drexel Hill and having a girlfriend. The subject was last seen wearing a black shirt and carrying an Acme bag. The subject appeared to be in his late 20’s and had the word "SNITCH" tattooed under his left eye. The homeowner checked the property and discovered that the subject had entered the enclosed porch of the residence. Officers checked the area, but were unable to locate the subject. Additionally on the same date, the police department responded to a residence in the 200 block of Beatty Road and investigated a report of an attempted burglary. Both addresses are in the same general area.
