Dining Under the Stars liquor compliance issues being worked out.

The Delco Times is reporting that liquor compliance issues, as related to Media's Dining Under the Stars, are being worked out.  Establishments who have not updated their "temporary extensions" to sell liquor on State Street may need to wait 30 days for approval, but most are reportedly in compliance.

The issue even drew the attention of State Representative, Tom Killion who sits on the House Liquor Control Board:  “I spoke to Bob earlier today and asked him if he needed me to jump in but he said everything had been straightened out and that all the businesses are now on board,” said state Rep. Tom Killion, R-168, of Middletown, who serves on the House Liquor Control Committee. “If needed, I would go to the mat for that event. It’s good for the borough, good for the county, good for the businesses, and it brings lots of people into the town. It’s a nice, family environment and a great event.”
