What we've got here is failure to communicate

Low Tech Media Borough
Unlike virtually every other community in Delaware County, Media continues to lack the abilities and tools to effectively communicate timely information to the community.  Over the last few days a state of emergency was announced by the borough regarding the upcoming visit by the Pope, but who knew if you didn’t see it on the site.

There are many examples of municipalities using social media to to convey important updates and safety information, but yet Media refuse to use these simple, free tools.

  1. I heard council was deadlocked on the font size, color scheme and style of the communucation. It was sent back to committee for further analysis. The Planning Commission made a recommendation but council didn't like it so they asked the EAC to look into it. The EAC decided communication was a waste of energy and the project was scrapped.
