              BIKE TO WORK DAY’S A HUGE SUCCESS!
Delco Cyclists Celebrated Commuting by Bike with Refreshments, Raffle Prizes,
and a Live SEPTA Demonstration

MEDIA, PA  Cyclists from across Delaware County gathered at the Courthouse in Media this morning for the 15th Annual Bike to Work Day celebration, coordinated by Delaware County Transportation Management Association and (DCTMA) and thDelaware County PlanningDepartment.

The fun-filled morning featured breakfast treats and refreshments for participants; great raffle gifts donated by local bike shops, restaurants, and other businesses; and free giveaways. DCTMA coordinated an off-duty SEPTA bus for live demonstrations on how to easily mount a bike on the front of the vehicle.

Several county and local dignitaries, business leaders, and DCTMA board members came out to show their support, including:

DCTMA hosts Bike to Work Day each year to promote commuting by bike as a healthier, more eco-friendly, and fun way to get to work and school.

Bike to Work Day 2015 was presented by Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union.
