Important update from Septa (2:45pm EST)

Important update from Septa (2:45pm EST)

General Announcement:
RRD: Due to a significant change in the weather forecast, SEPTA customers, especially those traveling on Regional Rail service should anticipate possible delays of up to 30 minutes and disruptions in service through the afternoon and evening travel periods. The original forecast issued a rain and wind advisory for today; the most recent reports are now calling for a high wind advisory, with sustained gusts of up to 50 miles an hour between 2-6 p.m. As a result, we may see additional incidents of downed wires and trees. Currently, all SEPTA services are in operation, but there continues to be a strong likelihood that we will experience delays and disruptions through the worst hours.
Bus:
Route 110: Detours will be in effect due to downed tree.  Check System Status for updates.
Regional Rail:
Media/Elwyn: Board all trains on the inbound platforms between Secane and 49th Street Stations. Train #3240 is canceled between Elwyn and Center City. Train #3420 is the next inbound train departing Elwyn at 2:44PM.
Paoli/Thorndale: UPDATE: Service has resumed with limited service.  Train #539 will operate to Malvern. Train #574 will be the first inbound train to Center City which is scheduled to depart Malvern at 3:58PM. Residual delays are expected.
