Complaints mount from residents near the future Hampton Inn site as they weren't told in advance by Media Borough of the coming demolition.  They received letters about the project after the demolition had begun.

In addition, there is information that needs to be shared with the community on the re-start of this project.

  1. Construction timelines.
  2. Have all criteria been met to begin construction?  Are there any outstanding items needed?(permits, sewer upgrades, etc.)
  3. What if any will be done with traffic?  Will Beatty Rd be made a one-way street?
  4. What is the position of Borough Council regarding the project and do they have any concerns.
  5. Will the developer and/or Media Borough share or present any further plans or decisions for the property?
There's no reason why Media residents can't be updated on a monthly basis regarding the progression of this development.

  1. You would think Media's elected officials would show some enthusiasm, or at least interest when it comes to these major projects. We hear nothing from them? Are they even aware?

  2. Why is it the boros responsibility to notify residents? Is it required by law, permits are at boro hall. These neighbors whine about everything, an empty eyesore that will be replaced by a business that will bring far less traffic than the clinic did.Cars were going in and out of there all day.the demolition company should have provided the neighbors info. Please cite boro ordinance it is the boros responsibility. If the zoning was changed then it would be.Maybe you assholes from the GOP would prefer a wall..and we could get Nether Providence to pay for it.What difference would it have made if they were notified of demolition?
