  1. Why not, there aren't enough weirdos walking around Media. I'm ready to tapout of this politically correct onethink town. Maybe they can put it over on the empty lot at 5th and Broommall.

    1. I guess we should shut down pharmacies and all the "weirdos" they attract as well. Dispensaries are providing medicine to those who need it. So much worse than prescription opioids, where OD deaths have more than quadrupled since 1999, but I'm sure the CDC is just making s***t up, right? https://www.cdc.gov/drugoverdose/data/overdose.html

  2. Christ. Maybe they'll sandwich it between the vape shop and the liquor store right next to the elementary kids. Wouldn't that be genius. How do they come up with this instead of attracting actual retail to downtown???

  3. Settle down folks. This is not unique to Media...most local governments are updating their ordinances to be prepared to review applications to operate this type of business. The state is allowing this type of commerce. Its only responsible for the local governmentsto be ready to react and decide where to permit this type of business. I urge you all to participate in the dialogue. If you choose not to participate, your complaints will never leave this echo chamber.

    1. I assure you, your belief in the process is either self serving or naive. Media government doesn't participate in dialogue and only makes decrees. They give some semblance of caring after the decree by allowing you to speak for a minute or two at their smoke and mirrors show. I've attempted dialogue by attending meetings, emails, and phone calls with absolutely zero dialogue. Third Street bridge is an obvious example as of how self serving the borough reps are. You keep telling yourself that the Media government serves their constituents' best interests. Hahahaha....

  4. I am absolutely for it! Way to go Media. Keep in mind it is Medical not just going to a store and getting weed to get high! It is for people who are disabled and in pain.

  7. Colorado has a 1.3 billion dollar industry. I can't wait to see Jeff Sessions try to shut it down.

    1. It is still illegal. The country doesn't run the way the last administration ran it. There are laws and Sessions job is to uphold those laws and our elected officials job is to draft the laws. If they want this to be legal, they should do their jobs and change the law.

*Unless Anonymous 7:25 disagrees, then, well, laws are laws.
