New Parking Garages Coming to Media, PA? It's being discussed.

There have been discussions between Media and the county regarding demolishing the county parking garage on Orange Street, which has been around since at least 1980 and rebuilding it to better accommodate today's parking volume.  It's still in the conceptual phase, so specific plans and timelines are not yet known.  Nor is it clear what involvement Media would have and how much they would be willing to invest.

In addition, these discussions also include a new parking garage that is being considered at the corner of Orange and Baltimore Ave.  Currently, the location is a parking lot.
