This reassessment is going to murder people who live in existing homes for the sake of who knew darn well what their tax hit would be by buying new construction. Shame on the county for not protecting 90%+ of the tax payers here by not appealing the court case. One could almost deduce County Council wanted to do the reassessment, but lacked the nerve to call for it themselves.
