Well, that didn't take long

The funny, and to some controversial, "Make 3rd Street Great Again" banner on the property of BLCC has been STOLEN.  From what I understand a report of stolen property has been filed with the Media Police Department.

To the perpetrator/s who carried out the crime, there's video of the act as captured by cameras on the property.

  1. that sign was a work of art. Hitler did the same thing the 40's.

    1. Great comparison, although I think you might have it backwards. Hitler suppressed all political opponents, he decided what you were allowed to say/think/display, etc. So . . . let's revisit the Hitler comparison.

  2. No doubt the socialist intimidation tactics that Kristin Seale and the radical Left espouses. They see something they don't like or feel offended by (Gee, really Make 3rd Street Great Again) and they destroy it. They now decide what is and isn't free speech. Charge the people in the video with a HATE crime.

    Nice job, Media

    1. Media borough has a different set of rules for different residents-,this also doesn't build goodwill among residents if they had a backbone we all would be better off.

  6. You've GOT to be kidding! Tolerance works both ways - that BANNER (not sign, not advertising anything commercial) wasn't hurting anybody, if snowflakes are offended, don't look at it.

  7. Don't worry James Jeffrey wouldn't be compelled to do anything anyway. Remember he works for Macmayon and Jeff Smith two key people who helped cause this situation

  11. Make me a banner "Make 3rd Street Great Again," l will put it on my front lawn. Monroe Street has thousands of vechicles every week. (Smaller in scale, of course,)

What size would you like the banner to be? I'll pick one up and drop it off to you.

  14. The bias that media borough has displayed on this project unacceptable and now a pending lawsuit Media Borough is spending all of our tax dollars to repeatedly obstruct this project. Who directs the grant writers day to day tasks. Why did media borough purposely let the grant expire ? Can we post a copy if the grant application on ATM so everyone can see it

  15. Breaking News (real news)...
The banner was not stolen. The Board of BLCC found it was too decisive and had it removed.
The report that it was stolen is FAKE NEWS.

    1. Dude, YOU are fake news - 'the board' did nothing of the sort. Talk to a board member before posting................

    2. From Fox29 news story linked to on the Aug 3 posting on this same blog:
"Media police were even called. Although they aren't calling it a theft. They do say a swim club board member took down the sign himself saying it was too divisive."

  16. Couple days ago I posted a "real" news response to Pinky's comment on Aug 1st noting that the Fox News 29 story you yourself linked to stated that the banner was taken down by a BLCC board member. You, not surprisingly, did not post my comment. You can't handle the truth can you.
