"Color: Pale straw with tints of lemon-green. Aroma: Very intense with notes of citrus. Delightful, floral. Taste: Crisp and dry with youthful vitality and freshness."
"This Vermentino is delicious, citrus and lemon, white peach with a spring-water minerality, fresh and crystal clean. Very light and very easy. If you love Pinot Grigio, give this Vermentino a try."
Castello di Meleto Toscana Rainero 2004
"The estate's 2004 Rainero is equal parts Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon that spent 14 months in new French oak. Nothing in particular stands out here, this is just one of those rare wines of outstanding balance and harmony where everything is in the right place. Medium in body, the wine offers a core of dark fruit beautifully framed by finessed, ripe tannins and beautifully integrated oak. It is another outstanding effort from Castello di Meleto." 92 points, Wine Advocate, June 2008
Tedeschi Capitel san Rocco Valpolicella DOC Superiore Ripasso 2007
"Tedeschi's opulent Capitel San Rocco ripasso boasts elements of red fruit, spice, coffee, cola and sandalwood. The wine is perfumed and intense and the mouthfeel is focused and sharp." 90 points Wine Enthusiast, October 1, 2009
"The 2007 Valpolicella Superiore Ripasso Capitel San Rocco is a dark, brooding wine loaded with jammy black fruit, minerals and sweet spices. The wine reveals plenty of depth and persistence in an authoritative, powerful style." 88 points Wine Advocate, October 2009
