Media Borough Receives a Second offer for 1. West State Street

At last week's Borough Council Meeting, it was announced that a 2nd offer was submitted for 1. West State St. The bid came in at $20,000 over the initial bid of $650,000.  The offer came from Claudio Sandolo, a well know and successful restauranteur who owns Spasso, an Italian grill in Old City.

In concept, another restaurant theme sounds much like the deal that Dan Brodeur proposed back in 2005.  Unfortunately, we went from a bid of $1,000,000 back then, to entertaining $670,000 now.
