Media keeps it CLEAN, FUN and SAFE on New Year's Eve

Thanks to our Police and Highway Departments:

It's hard to tell how many people came out last night for Media's 11th annual New Year's Eve extravaganza.  I heard as many as three to four thousand, which by the looks of it wouldn't surprise me.

This morning State Street was a mess with the celebration and aftermath of last night's event.  However, in mere hours, the Media Highway department had everything cleaned up to the point that you would've been hard pressed to believe there were that many people on the street 12 hours ago.  Great Job Media Highway Dept!

I'd also like to thank the Media Police for the great work they did last night too.  People were drinking in the streets, but I didn't hear of any major incidents or problems. I'm not sure Media could pull these event off with out the professionalism, dedication and community oriented support we have in our Police and Highway Departments.

What's Trending this Morning:

Interestingly enough, there was a tremendous spike this morning for online searches for "Media taxis, cabs and such."  Luckily, we had that covered at:

Taxi Cab Service in Media? Here's your best bet

Happy New Year!
