    3. LOL! You mean Paul "I'll take my ball and go home" Robinson? Take a page from council President Hall's book and although it is not your personal preference, it is in the best interest of the most people. Start the bulldozers!

  3. It will only take another 16 years for them to agree on when to start to rebuild. What a joke Media has become.

  5. It sounds like another 10-15 years before anything is decided.

OMG. Media Borough did the right thing. Finally and Thankfully. "No man is an island, entire of itself....," said the great poet. So too, our little borough.

  7. I'm glad that a final vote took place and the process is moving forward. The ability of vehicle traffic to enter Media through the west end of town should do a nice job of easing some congestion in other parts of the borough.

As has always been the case, I am against the re-build of the dam. A bridge would have suited the traffic need in a cheap manner than a dam. The dam impairs the quality of water on the stream, Ridley Creek, and ultimately the Delaware River. The new dam will cause the destruction of many older trees in the part. The dam will use tax payer dollars to maintain a private lake not open for tax payer use. The dam will eventually degrade again and cause this entire process to play out in a too quick and too expensive manner.

What a true shame that the prior borough council and Senator Pileggi boxed the taxpayers into a corner on a dam that is a waste of taxpayer dollars. I applaud the current members of council for looking into any and all options to change the agreement and will proudly vote for them all again.

    1. I applaud the prior council for doing their best to right a years-old wrong! Really, what further studies are needed at this point?

  8. Saved us from a legal and financial Armageddon did Council-president Brian Hall. A leader when the chips were down. His legacy is secure.

    2. Brian Hall just made it quite clear that he will not serve a second term on borough council.

    5. It is obviously the president's fault. What more evidence is needed?

  9. Its quite clear that Media is not equiped to deal with any real crisis. As frustrating as this is, keep in mind there are communities nearby with very real and dire problems. Here we are arguing over pavement, ponded water and trees. A little perspective is in order.

Thank you council for thinking this through. Thank you CAC for your efforts. Thank you to the public for participating.
