Media, PA was considered by Romney and Ryan for this Sunday’s campaign rally

This morning the Romney/Ryan campaign were seriously looking at Media, PA for their campaign rally this Sunday.  It was serious enough that officials were notified and permits prepared by the county and borough.  About an hour ago, the campaign chose to hold their event at their original venue in Yardley PA.

Media, PA has been quite popular town during  presidential campaigns.  Four years ago McCain and Palin were here and further back, Ronald Regan spoke in front of the courthouse in 1984.

  1. No wonder they told Media "No." 17 years without a bridge to get out of town.

    1. Yeah, that bridge being out really bothered McCain and Palin in 2008.

    2. You are right, MediaMike. It didn't bother Palin. The original bridge to nowhere is in Alaska. How did that election work out for them?

  2. Thank Goodness. Last thing we need is another traffic nightmare.

  3. What a shame. With no Eagles game on Sunday, I could have walked over with some pro-Obama signs.

    1. Sounds like a pretty fulfilling life all around, living vicariously through millionaires playing a child's game, or getting negative attention supporting a failed community organizer. Either way, I'm envious that you have that much leisure time to waste.

    2. Wow! I'd complain about you posting in an anonymous manner, but I guess signing up for an account would also be something done in "leisure time."

Also, you're both anti-NFL and anti-Obama. Hmmmmmm, non-athletic and very conservative. You're not Ron or Rand Paul per chance?
