When One Bank in Media Closes, Another Opens

Back in November Media learned of the sudden closure of Nova Bank by the FDIC.  What was left was the vacant building located on Providence and Baltimore Avenue.  Being it specifically built as a bank, it would have made sense that a financial institution would be interested in the property.

 It appears that may come true.  Alliance Bank is currently interested in the property and looking to bring a branch to Media, PA.  The terms of the deal are still being worked out, but from what I learned, it's an expensive undertaking to have a bank at that location.

    So make it a Starbucks..................and develop the Media Inn site the right way.
