That didn't happen by luck, but by a well organized Rose Tree Media School District and and an equally effective School Board. As a Penncrest Alumni, I can say the experience I had there had a lasting impression, which I hope has also been a positive experience for other students.
Keep up the good work! Or maybe it's also, "Restore the Roar!" Here's Philadelphia Magazine's full lising of their top 100 picks.
My husband and I did not go to Penncrest but our sons did. Both of them, from kindergarten to a graduating senior, have fond memories of great teachers, challenging classes, and good times with friends.
ReplyDeleteTo all who are taxpayers to the Rose Tree Media School District I would say we should all be proud!
I don't know about their sports programs but they can ball at the Delco Hi-Q.
ReplyDeleteIf anyone is interested in seeing the performing arts at Penncrest in action then I suggest you go see the Emanon Players tonight (2/2) at 7pm or tomorrow (2/3)at 2pm and watch high school acting at it's best as a stage cast of 6 and The Banging Blues Band group of 11 (Last night we were treated to a solo vocal performance with the band playing) and crews of MANY put on Crimes of the Heart directed by Penncrest teacher Kevin Nolen. To me the cast was incredible has they had to have southern accents!
ReplyDeleteGO and enjoy and SUPPORT our kids!
