Come Out and Visit Pennsylvania's Veteran's Museum on State Street

The State of Pennsylvania and Delaware County have done a great job with providing a Veteran's Museum at the former armory in Media.  It's free, it's informative and it's located in the heart of town on State Street.  I had a chance to stop in this weekend to check out what's going on.  What I thought would be a five minute visit turned into more than an hour, as the museum provides a fascinating look into what our vets went through.  Whether it's either World War, Korea, Vietnam or any of the military branches, this place covers it all with cutting edge technology presentations, life-like exhibits and authentic war memorabilia.

Donations are greatly appreciated with a gift shop on the premises.  Hours: Thursday - Sunday (12pm to 5pm). Check out their website for up-to-date information.
