The Delaware County Republican Party Endorses Tom McGarrigle for PA Senate Seat (26th)

SPRINGFIELD, PA – The Delaware County Republican Party today announced that it has endorsed Delaware County Council Chairman Tom McGarrigle, as the Republican candidate for the Pennsylvania Senate in the 26th District, which includes Media, portions of Delaware and Chester Counties. 

McGarrigle cites education, job creation, fiscal responsibility as top priorities.

About Tom McGarrigle
Tom McGarrigle has resided in Delaware County for more than 30 years. Tom started his own automotive repair business at the age of 21 in a small rented garage in Sharon Hill. Through hard work and a strong business sense, Tom was able to purchase his own, larger shop in Collingdale after just three years. Now located in Springfield Township, Tom’s business sponsors a range of community activities and events.

Tom has a long record of public service and a history of working to improve the quality of life for Delaware County residents. In 2003, he was elected Springfield Township Commissioner representing the 5th Ward. As a member of the Board of Commissioners where he had a record of fiscal discipline while maintaining a high standard of service for Springfield Township residents. As a member of Delaware County Council since 2007, McGarrigle has served as a voice of small business owners and average citizens. Tom has also been an outspoken advocate of the law enforcement community and a leader on environmental issues.Tom is a dedicated member of the community and has donated his time to a number of community and youth organizations. Tom and his wife Michele have three sons — Thomas Jr., Patrick, and Daniel — and reside in Springfield Township.
