Magic huh? I guess that's what all the folks on assistance think its just "magic" that checks arrive in their account once a month. Its called taxes and that's why Everyone should pay them. Nothing magical about it.
I hope they do a better job this year picking up the leaves. Last year the leaves would be in front of my house for a week or more. I would watch the borough's truck drive by repeatedly and not stop. Frequently the leaves would blow away before they got to them.
Looming at the published schedule, if you miss the window for your area them out is likely your leaves would sit for a week or more. Plus, inclement weather or other urgent matters could set our small crew back a few days. It doesn't take much to ruin the best of plans. Let's give them a break.
Anon 12:36 You are correct sir my leaves existed for at least a week before they were picked up. This is obviously the mayor's fault so he should be bitched slapped.
It's pretty awesome that you can just rake your leaves to the street and they magically disappear!
