Community comes out to meet Rose Tree Media School Board Candidates.

Last week the community came out to meet this year's Rose Tree Media School Board candidates at Broomall Lake Country Club.  With a good turn-out, the candidates went on to highlight the importance of good schools, the proven desirability of the RTM district, and their commitment to taxpayers.

A nice group of people.

  2. These people have my vote. Having spoken to my neighbors, it appears RTM Strong is nothing more than the local democratic party hit squad. Has anyone done research on their candidates? They are all former teachers, which will surely capitulate to the teacher's union. Don't be fooled taxpayers, let's keep this great school district moving in the right direction.

Shame on you RTM Strong for playing underhanded politics with us and our children!

    1. RTM Strong has not endorsed any candidates yet. We are setting up meetings with both slates for people to come and meet them, and we have sent questionnaires of the same questions to both slates.

    2. bullcrap - RTM Strong is a front for the local Dems looking for their in to ruin the school district. This group is using the rightful firing of a hothead principal and the overreaction of a bevy of helicopter moms to push their agenda through.

  3. This is the Republican slate of candidates. There is a very diverse slate of Democratic candidates running as well. Why don't you post their bio's?

  4. We heard that too. I believe all but one of the Democrat (RTM STRONG) candidates are former school administrators. Sneaky group they are.

  5. RTM Strong is a bi-partison group and has not endorsed any candidates yet. Get your facts straight before posting. It is very clearly stated on the Facebook page that is a bipartisan community.

    1. "Bi-Partisan" = get a couple RINOs to justify - RTM Strong is nothing more than a front for local Dems.

  6. Well, well, well. Can this group called RTM Strong explain themselves? "DISLIKE!" Not a Wigo fan, but this school district was why we moved here and we've been quite happy with it.

  7. Jim Cunningham is a standup guy and actually came to my door. He's got my vote as does the people he's running with. Go, Jim, Go!

  8. This group has my support - "If It ain't broke, don't fix it". This district ain't broke: taxes are low, district performs among to top of the commonwealth's rankings.

A vote for anyone else is a vote to bend over and take it hard with tax hikes, big government solutions, pillaging by the local teachers union and a sustained downward trend in SD quality to Upper Darby levels.
