Iron Hill Restaurant in Media will be closing January 9th for Renovations

Iron Hill Media to close for Renovations January 9th 2017

It's the second announcement this week by a State Street restaurant that they will be closing temporarily for renovations.  Tagine was the first.  In this case, Media's Iron Hill location will be closing January 9th for remodeling.

I suspect these changes include a new layout of the restaurant's bar area that I've been hearing for months.  I don't know that for sure, as no formal details have been given, but look for some changes in that area.  I'd also wouldn't be surprised, and I think would be quite welcomed; if they included some open air seating or retractable windows that many restaurants on State Street take advantage of.

Well, there isn't a time frame of how long these changes will take or an estimate of when Iron Hill will open back up; however, there are looking to have one big party this Saturday to drain the kegs. In fact, you're all invited.  Check out "Burn the Bourbons" Saturday, January 7th.
