This (along with the previous post) is wonderful news! Congratulations to the good work being done by the teachers and students in our local school district. However I think most readers of this blog, at least evidenced by the comments (or lack of them) I usually see here when posts like this come up, would rather have something to complain about, be defeatist about, or be conspiratorial about. So enough of this feel good stuff. Time now to throw out some red meat they can chew on.
Thank you for your comment but when local political cartoons capture what really people think see this weeks cartoon in the town talk about "local elections are so important " why do so few people vote - this blog is pertinent and necessary the leadership in media has been around too long republican, democrat, Green Party, independent- if your around too long the familiarity breeds its own problems within local politics
I agree with the last part of your comment - which seems to be political one-party rule is not good in the long run for any governing body. I personally would like to see some Republican representation in local borough government - the same way I would like to see some Democratic representation on the RTMSD school board.
