Park at your own risk at the Media Olive Street Garage (*AGAIN*)

So much for the work done two years ago by Media Borough Council to repair the Olive Street Garage.  As falling debris continues to damage cars, Media Police have cordoned off needed parking spaces.

The repair costs two years ago were $900,000.

  • What was actually done?
  • What kind of recourse does the borough have with the contract company?
  • Who is and how much was spend with this company?
  • Who on Media Borough Council signed off on the repairs?

  1. I would question where did all the money go towards fixing the parking garage was their a Supervision besides Media Boroigh Code Enforcement ? who was the PE who signed off on the repairs- you're personally responsible as a PE I heard that the garage is safe from the borough engineer is this indeed true ? if the debri is damaging cars I'm sure it could Cause bodily injury

    1. There is nothing to love about it
Because we have no choice in media no voice with elected officials even as a independents local officials have no interest in you or your ideas

    1. Perhaps council doesn't care about the parking garage they all can walk into town no car necessary

  7. You mean doubt?
Ask the Granite run Mall and numerous other struggling retailers. .it's called AMAZON...remember when Media was deserted on the weekends and especially Wednesday evening in the summer. .NEXT!

    1. Thanks for spelling correction
Then since nobody needs to drive anywhere and everything is purchased online then - Media Borough has no sense of urgency to notify the general public about the condition of the Media Municpial Garage
Their attitude should be beyond reproach - instead is what we observe is silence and parking spots blocked off I walked through the garage last Wednesday before DUTS and lots of cars entered in what was a full garage and had to exit (no spaces)

    2. Maybe the Media Munniciap Garage
Should sponsor the Media Five 5 miler
And apply for nonprofit status so
All the money spent fixing the garage
Can be unaccounted for like the MFMiler
