Welcomed changes are about to take place on the Media/Elwyn regional rail line. Actually, this will happen throughout the whole SEPTA transportation system, but this week there were some notable additions to the Media train station.
Two new terminal validators were added that are part of the new SEPTAkey program that allows for customers to swipe their new Key Card which can be replenished online. Cash and tokens will still be accepted at these terminals.
No official word yet on when this new system will be online for the Media/Elwyn line, but recent conversations I've had with SEPTA indicated it may be by the end of this year. For more information on how to use this system check out SEPTA's website or reach out to the @SEPTAkey team on Twitter.
