Big wagers being placed on Granite Run Promenade and other regional shopping-and-entertainment complexes, but will it be enough? "It’s not quite a last gasp against the ever-encroaching Amazonization of American shopping, but it’s close."
I know I am not the brightest bulb on the tree but I just don't get this project. Are the residents of the new expensive apartments next to Acme going to want to walk across the Acme and Sears parking lots to get the fun and excitement - which so far announced are places like Chipotle and Panera Bread? The designs at least that I saw showed way too much space devoted to parking lots to make it seem in any way like a town center. Maybe it will become more clear (and appealing) as work progresses. I hope so.
Ill fated project. Upscale Media shoppers will drive right by straight to Glen Mills. They do it already. And the same people that shop at Boscovs' and Sears, will be the lucky ones to use this new "Promenade". Lipstick. Pig.
The new chintzy white parking lot lights remind me of the board game Mouse Trap.

Delete^ ^ Anonymous just above - you are nasty. I'm grateful there are better people than you shopping at Boscovs' and Sears.
