This was excellent to see renovated; doubly so after the ill-informed cadre of typicals attempted to cheerlead this Wawa into closure in order to further their sky is falling agenda with just about everything in town.
The sky falling ? But the masonry and who knows what else is falling and failing in the Olive street garage polical leanings aside its past time to understand who media brough paid years back for the repair and if the recently identified problems are related or not Whatever is dug up better have a PE stamp on it or the money spent to repair was not spent wisely perhaps ATM should dig into this further
PA Dep mandated Dam breach complete and despite media borough being held in contempt of court over delaying and arguing unsuccessfully that restore the dam bridge to them would mean a one way street. They continue to want a one way street or just keep it closed indefitely so the west end residents including the former mayor and current council member Lusa Johnson can have a park like setting instead of a busy street and a convenient cut through into and out of borough of media Also media borough continues to send thousands of dollars of media borough residents tax payers to sit on there hands a real shame and waste of tax payer dollars
Media Borough also retailiated against Broomall Lake Country club advertising with no notice to possibility rezone BLCC land This is typical of media borough giving no notice to affected property owners when it comes to development and building permits- think we need some new faces in our code enforcement department we need people that actually want to work and not tow a political line or agenda
Hey, I was one of the “ill-informed cadre” who thought it couldn’t possibly make financial sense to have 3 Wawa’s so close together, but I wouldn’t call it cheerleading closure... With the renovation of the Monroe store and the in-progress expansion of the Kirk store, I couldn’t be happier to be proven wrong.

ReplyDeleteThis staunch Democrat ad raging liberal says time for the Media Council to grow up and open 3rd Street bridge..BOTH WAYS!
ReplyDeleteJudge Proud would be proud of you
DeletePlease spread the word the town is too small and enough money has been wasted on engineers and lawyers
Can Wawa reopen 3rd street bridge with a donation and in return just rename the connecting road Woods way or Wawa Way
