Media Borough Council omits question regarding whether they are still in contempt of court over Third Street Bridge
Is Media Borough Council still in contempt of court over Third Street Bridge when it was filed back in 2014? That's an answer many would like to know, but when it was asked at this month's meeting during the privilege of the floor, the question was omitted from the Youtube video of the meeting.
Of all the years these videos have been posted to youtube, the privilege of the floor was always covered in its entirety, until now. It's also worth noting that these videos posted by the borough have had their comments disabled.
Here's a link to the full video Media Borough posted. As seen at the end video, the privilege of the floor segment is abruptly ended.

Holy crap those Borough Council twats just got out-foxed again. Kudos to Terry Rumsey for asking the question about the stipulation language in the Jan. meeting and then Michael Straw, who I think is a Borough Council candidate this year, for following up and getting an answer. That Borough Council is less transparent than Congress!
ReplyDeleteI'll be writing in Terry Rumsey and Michael Straw for Borough Council in the primary this fall, and in the general as well if that's an option! Enough of this crap.
The primary is in May!
DeleteI heard that Terry Rumsey is running this year is that true?
DeleteRun Rumsey Run
DeleteRun Rumsey Run
Run Rumsey Run. ... 2019
Terry Rumsey just set up a new website with his "Keep Media Green" page going. He's calling the Council's lack of transparency out as well. It sounds like he's running.
DeleteThis is his site: https://www.keepmediagreen.org/
That's not what I heard, I heard Kent Davidson is going to jump in.
DeletePlease no, we could do better than Kent Davidson. Hoping Terry or Robin runs.
DeleteRumsey will not run. He is not disciplined enough. All he does is throw grenades. Two bit want to be organizer. Would never have the vision to follow thru. All bluster no basis.
DeleteCorruption at its finest. Media's Democratic Party is showing us they are as bad as Trump no matter how much they crow about him.
ReplyDeleteCan confirm, if you use the link below you'll see that they never adjourn the meeting. Very suspicious.

They didn't even have an agenda posted online before the meeting? smh
DeleteThat engineer couldn't answer questions about the parking deck either, yikes. Who are we hiring in Media Borough?
DeleteBrian Hall can't even convincingly explain when and whether he's actually seen the agenda before hand.
ReplyDeleteVote Hall out in 2019! I can't believe my party even lists him on our site.
DeleteBrian Hall quite literally said that the stipulation settlement was on his agenda, and then Robert Scott said that it wasn't on his agenda. There's a word for that:
DeleteLYING
Dictionary result for lie
1. an intentionally false statement.
Seems that someone lied since two different statements were made there?
100% would believe they are trying to cover something up that Scott had said. Thank goodness we have citizens in the Borough that will call these people out.
ReplyDeleteThat guy came by my house and asked for a petition signature. He'd bring a new energy to this council that seems to be lacking. Why is Hall the only one speaking for instance? This is nuts. Someone else needs to get on that Borough Council.
ReplyDeleteWhat do they have to hide??? Show us the tapes!
ReplyDeleteListen to Brian Hall stammer trying to answer the question. He clearly has no idea what he’s talking about it.
ReplyDeleteProbably because he doesn't read the agendas!
DeleteI hope that guy files for Council. He ran circles around Hall, Robinson, and that engineer dude.
ReplyDeleteCover-up alert! They're hiding something!
ReplyDeleteHey hey ho ho Brian Hall has got to go Hey Hey Ho Ho we want Brian Hall to go!
ReplyDeleteMaybe they should find a way to release the entire video, not that it matters, they are showing their true colors.
ReplyDeleteIs it illegal for them to not post the entire video? Certainly unethical.
DeleteMedia borough is ethical Look at the
DeleteBuilding permit process it's another money grab without Linn and company we don't even have qualified persons even worse they have been known to steal from contractors at job sites
Think you meant to say "unethical." If that's what you meant to say then you're in the ball park of what most think about Media Borough Council.
DeleteIt's interesting how the Borough Council is treating that guy like a child. Amazing, don't they realize they are the one's that are causing the issues here? They didn't have their agenda straight, and it looks as if they didn't even read the agenda.
ReplyDeleteCall them out!
ReplyDeleteIf they can't explain what's on the agenda, how are they overseeing this town? This is absolutely dreadful.
ReplyDeleteEven their own solicitor can't even make sense of what's being said.
Their own solicitor is saying something very different than what the Council President said. "It was on our agenda," vs. "I wrote Rescind MERC ordinance, in shorthand."
DeleteStipulation settlement doesn't equal the repeal of an ordinance, def not shorthand. And if the solicitor is writing the agenda piece on there wouldn't it have been on the council's agenda and public's? Is there more than one agenda? Brian Hall and Robert Scott might be idiots.
Can we please get someone on council who has an independent voice? The Council President is a joke meanwhile anyone who tries to speak besides him doesn't know what they are doing. Bring back Jim Cunningham!
ReplyDeleteCan this Borough Council stoop any lower?
ReplyDeleteThis is one of the more narrow-minded councils I’ve seen in years. Makes me wonder if, in their spare time, they don black masks, fill sandwich bags with urine, and call people Nazi’s
ReplyDeleteMedia Republicans have put up on their facebook page that the Borough has released the entire video now. Why does it take them calling out these cronies to put up a video?
ReplyDeleteTheir is a level of complacency at media borough at all levels
DeleteToo much of the same people and their terrible business accan when you have to deal with any of them
Mediocre. They've done nothing to build the bridge. They have a personal vendetta against hit.
DeleteMedia Borough Council's corruption update. That should be their newsletter title.
ReplyDeleteScrew Media Borough Council.
ReplyDeleteBrian Hall is just dumb. He had no answers.
ReplyDeleteWe need to evaluate media borough personal and their salaries to justify
ReplyDeleteThe lackluster service and attention that residents get this excludes the hourly streets folks but residentd should know what their tax dollars are paying for in their salaries and job descriptions.
Did everyone see there was a backroom deal that Media Borough did? Straw hit the nail in the coffin that there was a backroom deal.

Rumsey 2019!
DeleteWhy are we surprised. Borough Council is just giving us all another reason not to vote for them.
DeleteLove how this is being covered here while the Daily Times didn't write a thing about this. That reporter seems to have bias.
ReplyDeleteShe's always had bias. The video clearly shows that Borough Council knows nothing, yet she won't write against people of her party. She wants to control the press of this town.
DeleteNow hold up. "Bias" would mean that she actually writes articles regarding these issues and has a slant one way or the other.
DeleteSerpin or whatever her name is doesn't even write articles at all. She doesn't word to get out at all which is sad!
