Ruined the paper? Liberal? Multiple conservative columnists were allowed to put out debunked right wing talking points multiple times a week and Phil allowed his comments sections to turn into a haven for the worst deplorables imaginable. Phil did nothing to turn that paper "liberal" and was quite good in providing good news coverage.
