| PennDot not made aware of latest legal issues on Third St. |
While Media Borough Council has been assuring residents that
the financing for the Third Street Bridge was safe, they apparently forgot to
inform PennDot regarding the latest “contempt of court” petition filed
against them by one of the stakeholders.
I just now got off the phone with a representative from PennDot who is handling this matter for Media, who stated they were not made
aware by Media Borough Council that this issue has been brought back into the courts based on the "Contempt of Court" petition.
I asked PennDot how this
could potentially affect the funding for this project, however, Penndot was not
able to give a statement at this time.
There's no way this can be true. Is it borough council?

ReplyDeleteThere's got to be something, somewhere in the borough by-laws that holds these people accountable for inept management of a secured, funded opportunity. Fire them! Impeach them! do whatever just get 'em out!
And did they not just vote to hire a 'landscape architect'? Where's that money coming from?
This would be sit-com funny to me if it weren't happening in my own town and potentially raiding my wallet, unless we can sell another town hall...

DeleteWord. MediaMike clearly hasn't paid attention to the cycle that is borough council. No tax increases before an election so they have something to run on. Seen three decades of it,
