The MOMS Club® of Media is sponsoring an exciting event this May.  The Aston and Media Mom Prom is a benefit to celebrate and honor moms.  It will be an evening of drinks, desserts, and dancing--the ultimate ladies night out!  While this is a ladies only event, it is not a moms only event. All proceeds benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand. This year’s Prom is at the Barnaby’s in Aston on May 4, 2013 from 7pm-11pm. 

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) emerged from the front yard lemonade stand of cancer patient Alexandra “Alex” Scott (1996-2004). At the age of 4, Alex announced that she wanted to hold a lemonade stand to raise money to help find a cure for all children with cancer. Since Alex held that first stand, the Foundation bearing her name has evolved into a national fundraising movement, complete with thousands of volunteers across the country carrying on her legacy of hope. To date, Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, a registered 501(c)3 charity, has raised more than $45 million toward fulfilling Alex’s dream of finding a cure, funding over 200 research projects nationally.

We are very excited about your products and we are hoping that you will donate a prize for our raffle or silent auction.  In return, your contribution will be acknowledged by mentioning your donation on our Facebook page.  Your donation would be tax-deductible.

Your participation in this celebration will broaden your exposure to many moms and women in Aston and Media, while simultaneously assisting Alex’s Lemonade Stand.  Last year we were able to raise $6900 for Alex’s Lemonade Stand!!!!  Your donations are key to raising money for a great cause!
