Media to Celebrate Bike to Work Day May 17th
County Employees Will Swap Cars for Cycles for the Day

MEDIA, PA – Spring is in the air… finally!  With the warmer, spring-like weather, it’s the perfect time to leave the car at home, and ride your bike to work.  It’s fun, it’s healthy, and it helps the environment.

On Friday, May 17, Delaware County Transportation Management Association (DCTMA) and the Delaware County Planning Department will host Bike to Work Day.  County workers and other Media business employees will ride to work, and meet on the grounds of the Courthouse at Front and Olive Streets for a morning celebration.  Participants are invited to enjoy treats provided by Wawa, Trader Joe’s, and Main Line Water, plus special raffle prizes donated by Media businesses, including Cycle Sport, Bryn Mawr Running Co., Planet Hoagie, Salad Stop, Custom Bagels, and more.
