An up and coming rockstar who got a start in Media, PA!

We don't get the celebrity spotlight shown on Media frequently, and by that I mean people starring on the late night talks shows.  Look, I've never been on Jimmy Kimmel, not that I can think of any reason why I would be(at least not yet); but area local singer and songwriter Jeff Campbell who got his start playing on Media's State Street, did! Yes, that's right!  Jeff and his band were the musical entertainment for the Kimmel show last night and featured songs from his latest album "In Spite of Everything."

I get people from time to time asking me to promote their latest music on ATM, which is great, but I never get the time to listen to it, so I usually pass (except for R3 and the Broozers).  With Jeff, I did take the time to check out his site and songs.  WOW, the production of the music is excellent and the songs even better.  Check it out -  Jeffcampbellmusic.com

Hey, Jeff, don't forget us little guys in Media, PA.  Best of luck with the music!

A little history on Jeff:
Jeff's parents, Jeff & Jeanette (Johnston) Campbell are from Media and graduated from (Penncrest/Notre Dame) in 1972. Jeff moved to San Francisco about 12 years ago to more actively pursue his music career. He has been playing in Media since he was 14 years old at many of the different bars/restaurants on State Street as well as Philly, New York and across the country.  He was this years winner of The Guitar Centers Singer/Songwriters Contest and just released his EP produced by Grammy Winner John Shanks. Check him and his live performance out at Jeffcampbellmusic.com
