Newer signs posted on Third Street Bridge stating construction slated for 2020

Newer signs have been posted at the end of Third Street indicating construction is slated to begin on the bridge in 2020.  After being found in contempt of court years ago, borough council may have finally gotten the message by way of air delivery, that the community is fed up with a lack of progress.

  1. Where does this leave the federal suit brought against media bourgh mayor bob mcmayon and media borough council members ? Should that law suit move forward are we (the media taxpayers responsible for their legal fees?)
It would be an outrage if they allow the media taxpayer to pay for their bad decision making, poor administration, and haphazard project management

  2. HOPE THIS INCLUDES THE RESTITUTION OF BROOMALL'S LAKE AND THE COUNTRY CLUB, ONCE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL VISTA IN DELAWARE COUNTY. THE FANTASTIC WATER LILIES WERE STILL THERE UNTIL IT WAS DRAINED. NO STREAM OR MEADOW OR GREEN BELT OF TREES WIIL EVER EQUAL JUDGE BROOMALL'S LANDSCAPE.

  3. What is the reason this can't start in 2019? The only way for borough officials to have Broomalls dismiss the federal complaint is to fast track the construction - and obviously they do not seem willing to move fast enough.

  4. Well then let the federal suit unfold it will certainly uncover the bias in this small town where every citizen seems to have their own set of rules depending on of course your voting registration maybe the ACLU should be brought in to look at the bias that exists in media borough
