Looking forward to working with the Delaware County Parks and Recreation Board

It was a distinct honor to have been appointed to the Delaware County Park and Recreation board this morning.  I not only look forward to working with this board, but also with the great communities and parks that make up Delaware County.   Bringing awareness and improvements to our green areas and the recreations they provide will be a priority, but so will making sure each and everyone can enjoy them as nature intended.

I also appreciate the support of those who took the time to be in the audience today and the exciting ideas shared about the Glen Providence County Park here in Media.  These areas and activities should be inclusive, not exclusive.

  1. Tedman - Could you be specific about the activities supporting Glen Providence Park you found "exclusive"? Did you see those in Town Talk or on-line inviting participation? Why didn't you feature them on your blog?

Congratulations, Tedman. I know you will do a great job on the board. But, please, don't give up your blog, ATM.

  4. Congratulations on the appointment to the board. This county has some great parks and I'm very hopeful that your time of service on the board will help the county increase the amount of preserved open space that can be included in the land set aside for all of us to enjoy at nature intended.

  7. You have done well, Grasshopper - my job here is done. May the force be with you as you embark on this journey. But, BEWARE the one who crosses over to the dark side, as he may never recover!
Someone must place accountability on those FROGs!
